Do I need to be present at the inspection?
The short answer is no. HomeStar Inspections does recommend you be present so we can teach you about your home. However, our reports are detailed enough that being present isn’t a necessity.
How long does the inspection take?
1 – 2 hours on average. Allow for more time for properties larger than 3,000Sf.
How long until I get my report?
We typically can produce reports by the following business day.
What items on the report should I concentrate on first?
We recommend addressing ALL safety issues immediately. Followed by any energy savings projects such as insulation, windows, etc., or possible insurance savings recommendations such as hurricane protection, updated roof, etc.
Do you know anyone that can fix the items on the report?
Given HomeStar Inspections coverage area, along with liability restrictions, we do not recommend anyone for repairs. It’s best to ask your agent and/or go to yellowpages.com and type in the service you’re looking for along with your zip code.
